O’Neal are please to be supporting the Solid Reverse Factory (SRF) Racing DH team in 2017 as they embark on an exciting season of German Cup, European Cup and World Cup racing.
Jan Flor and Julian Steiner were supported privately by O’Neal in 2015 and 2016 before joining SRF. Now, along with long-serving Solid rider Joshua Barth, we’re expecting plenty of exciting racing from the guys this year! Working with SRF is the coming together of O’Neal’s strategy to support grassroots racing in all our main markets, helping to nurture the riders and hopefully stick with them as they take the step up to the next level of competition.
❯❯ JAN FLOR
Jan Flor is one rider who really personifies the approach at O’Neal, having started riding for us aged 15:
“This year will be the third riding for O’Neal. I’m finally old enough the the World Cups and I’m pretty excited for this season! O’Neal is for me not just a sponsor. They are more of a family where everyone pushes the others and then help me massively to reach my goals!”
❯❯ JULIAN STEINER
And team mate Julian Steiner, also entering his second season with O’Neal, is hungry to push himself further for 2017:
“2016 was the first year for me riding for the O’neal Family. Coming into the new Season I have the plans to compete with the team at the IXS European/ German Cups and a few World Cup and Crankworx events. I had an unreal winter in NZ getting ready for the European season. I had some decent bike time and feel like I´m ready to go out there racing! My goals are always have a good time and perform as well as I can. If I had my best possible run on the day and don’t get the result I`m hoping for I`m still happy!”
❯❯ JOSHUA BARTH
Long-standing Solid rider Joshua Barth, on the team for 5 years already, is also super motivated going into the 2017 season:
“2017 is my first season for O’Neal. I will compete some European Cup and German Cup races. Also I will try to race some World Cups in Europe. I want to qualify for the Super Finals at the European Cups and the Finals at the World Cups.”
We’re excited to see what the riders and team can deliver and keep an eye out for the neon kit of the SRF Racing team, no doubt gracing a few podiums across Europe this summer.
