Versatile: The O'NEAL NX1 Neck Collar is a universal foam neck protection.
All-around protection: The collar helps to protect the spine from overstretching and thus reduces neck fatigue.
Combine it: Thanks to the integral loops you can directly connect the collar to your chest protector.
Easy cleaning: The inner lining can be removed and washed if necessary.

Sitzt eher störend, aber Schützt bestimmt
Habe den Nackenprotektor an meiner Schutzweste angebracht. Sitzt gut am Hals, aber beim Biken empfinde ich ihn eher störend. Ob der funktioniert und Schützt weiß ich nicht, da ich mich bisher nicht gemault habe.
Verschluss defekt
Angenehm zu tragen, wirkt zunächst wertig. Aber: nach der Nutzung ließ sich der Verschluss zwecks Verklemmung nicht mehr ohne Werkzeug öffnen und ich saß darin fest. Daher ging der Artikel zurück.

Kann man weiterempfehlen
Bei den ersten Fahrten muss man sich erst einmal daran gewöhnen. Es schränkt die seitliche Sicht am Anfang ein, wird aber nach öfteren Gebrauch besser. Insgesamt gibt es einem ein sicheres Gefühl. Wie die Befestigung an der Jacke funktionieren soll, erschließt sich nicht, ist aber auch nicht notwendig. Zudem liegt der Helm gut auf den Schultern auf.
Gut und günstig
Es gibt bestimmt technisch aufwändigere Neckbrace. Aber dieser hier ist sehr gut tragbar, weil mit kleinem Aufwand einsetzbar und er sieht auch auf normalen Klamotten und Motorrädern ok aus. Und so nutzt man ihn auch immer und verschiebt die Nutzung nicht auf St. Nimmerlein, weil's für die "kleine" Ausfahrt mal wieder "viel zu aufwändig ist" ... ;-)))
Super zum Stützen des Nacken
Habe mir das Teil in erster Linie als Stütze für den Nacken bei hohen Geschwindigkeiten gekauft. Der Karqgen ist zwar deutlich kleiner als mein Helm, stört aber weder beim Tragen, noch bei Bewegungen. Als Stütze um den Druck hintrn vom Hals zu nehmen it das top! Vorne ist ein Clip zur Verriegelung und zusätzlich noch Klett an den Stirnflächen. Ein Einsatz im Gelände ist für mich nicht relevant.
Zum Start besser als nix ... aber besser und deutlich teurer geht immer. Würde ich noch mal kaufen.
Da wir so oft nicht fahren haben wir uns für die günstige Variante entschieden. Passt gut zum ONeil Helm(MTB), die Verschraubung um den Neckbraze an die Alpinestars Protektorenweste anzubringen funktionieren auch gut. Also besser geht immer, kostet dann aber schnell 150,- plus. Also für uns reicht das erstmal.... Würde ich noch mal kaufen!
