“It was just the perfect weekend for me, it start pretty well from the time practice where I take 2nd, then on first moto I started not really good. I was in 11th but I come back strong to take 3rd. Second moto start was good, got into 2nd place but touched my handlebar with another rider and went back to 5th but again came back stronger to 3rd but in my mind there was just one goal to take the podium! For sure the most important was to pass Walsh to take 1st overall! I want to say thank you to my team Astes4Tesar, Yamaha Racing, Monster Energy, O’Neal, my family and all the sponsors that supported me!”
“Just starting to put the pieces of puzzle together and soon I’ll be at 100% but I’m happy about my progress and being 2nd in the Championship.”
“If you are going for the title at the end of the year, a 5-2 is not good enough. I have good days, but Saturday was not one of them if I can be honest. Sunday my riding went better, but still lost points to Anderson. I will focus and work hard to come out on top for the next European round in GB!”
