O’NEAL team rider Luc Ackermann had a successful weekend at his NIGHT of the JUMPs home Grand Prix in Berlin/Germany.

The 18 year young Husqvarna rider qualified for the final six on Saturday night with a brilliant 4th place. After the qualification round Luc also took part in the Best Whip Contest and won. In the final Luc rode strong and did tricks including a Flair, Surfer Tsunami Flip, 360, Seatgrab Flip, 1-Hand Take-off Tsunami and the California Roll in the Double-up. In the end he almost made it onto the box with a sensational 4th place! He finally arrived in the Champions League of Freestyle Motocross after such a solid performance.

Night of the Jumps Berlin has been amazing. Friday night I made a little mistake and crashed on my flair and missed the final. But yeah this crash just made me stronger for Saturday night and everything worked out how I wanted it. I had a good quali run and made it to the final. At the end I finished 4th and won the best whip competition. So all in all a good weekend. Luc Ackermann
