At Fort William this year we had a feeling of déjà vu. Greg Minnaar won again. For the 6th time on this track. More than any other male rider at Fort William. With this victory, he added yet another World Cup gold medal to his collection. His 19th win. More than any other male rider in the history of our sport. Ever.
The sun came out and 1000s of fans lined the hill in Scotland to support not only their own British riders but also everyone’s favourite Fort William rider. Fort William promoted the race by saying “We Are Legend” for 2016. Appropriately they used an image of Greg from last season’s race (which he also won).
For us we would extend this to say:
Greg Minnaar – “You are a Legend”!
So often this term is used loosely and thrown around and sometimes you question if someone really has become a legend. But in this case we have no doubt. Greg was on fire and we are confident that there’s more to come from him this season and beyond!
With

70 podiums from well over
115 World Cup races, no other male rider in the history of our sport has won as many WC races. And it’s not over yet for the
3 time World Champion and
3 time World Cup Champion.
Greg Minnaar: After all the testing we did going in to Fort William, it made the win even sweeter. After FW we went down south to PORC for an O’Neal ride day with all my UK team mates, always a good time down there.
