O’Neal’s Jakub Vencl had an awesome start at Crankworx in Whistler. He placed 2nd in his first ever Dual Speed and Style event.

From Jakub:

“First day of Crankworx and first discipline – Dual Speed and Style. It was also my first time trying Speed and Style. I didn’t feel very fast in practise, but fitting a front brake and more runs made a difference for sure. I just entered the event for fun and to ride with all the boys. All the rounds were really tight and it was great fun to switch from regular Slopestyle events.

All of the races were really tight, especially the one with Greg Watts in the last 8. I got to the finals ahead of Tom Van Steenbergen and met Thomas Genon in the finals. It was a great battle and serious racing. I lost by a bit but was really happy with the result. What a way to start Crankworx!” | Jakub Vencl
