How it all started...
We realized that this wouldn't work without a plan, so we thought about what we wanted to accomplish. Since March 2022 we hired Larissa as our first Sustainability Manager. This position focuses on compliance (from suppliers as well as from us), packaging and material alternatives, potential new projects towards climate, recycling and waste management.
The vision of changing the industry resulted in our fields of action and our necessary measures. We have worked on overarching strategic goals that include all subordinate objectives and measures. We know that these are big goals for a small company. For others, they may not be big enough either. But we want to challenge ourselves and generate a positive impact, even though we will certainly need help in implementing them.
Climate neutrality with complete supply chain decarbonisation until 2050
Reduce impact of greenhouse gas emissions - with focus on scope 3 to 30% by 2030 offsetting the remaining by 2040
Use of recycled and certified materials and minimization of packaging waste by 20% by 2030
30% recycled or enviromentally friendly materials in all products by 2035
Finally, we worked out our fields of action, which then became the basis for our required measures and our roadmap, in which the individual points can also be read in more detail.
The full list of timelines, goals and responsible persons can be found here in our roadmap!
