O'NEAL Team Rider Michael Kratzer wins the 2022 Austrian MX Open Championship, defending his 2021 title!
Michael came to the final of the 2022 Austrian Motocross National Championship on October 2 in Kirchschlag with a 19-point lead.
"That was a good cushion, of course, but I was still a bit tense on the day, after all you always have the title fight on your mind," said the 28-year-old from Baierdorf, who finished the first race in third place and thus extended his overall lead to 21 points.
In the second race, the Dimoco Europe Racing Team rider drove a safe race on the Rosenberger Honda and again saw the checkered flag in third place: "These were not my very best races today, but in the end it was important to make the state championship title and this goal has worked out", summarizes the Honda rider from the district of Weiz.
