Luc Ackermann: “It was such a good feeling to be back at the NIGHT of the JUMPs series. I missed the riding with the guys a lot and of course the fight for the podium. Everything was perfect. I had a good practice and in the contest I was super relaxed, because I knew that I can stick all my tricks. I am happy about my new 360 Nac and all of my other big tricks. 6 months was a long time, but finally it paid off to wait till I am again at 100%.”

Maikel Melero: “I’m already back home after my last participation in the fourth stop of the Freestyle World Championship held last weekend in Krakow (Poland) where I finished 1st. The previous weekend I had participated in front of 45,000 spectators at X-Knights Costa Rica, where a small mistake meant I finished in 6th position. At the same time, just before starting Costa Rica practices, I received some very sad news, a great friend from childhood had died. Obviously, this bad news made me very sad but I tried to focus it in the best possible way trying to make it even better to be able to dedicate the podium to my friend. Unfortunately things didn’t go as expected as I made a small mistake in one of my tricks that left me out of the final.

After Costa Rica I arrived in Krakow with a few strange feelings. I was eager than ever to win but at the same time I was a bit afraid to make a mistake as I had in Costa Rica. Fortunately, everything went as expected and I managed to do some perfect rounds that took me straight on top of the podium. This win is for you Alejandro!“
