I like the Velcro straps on the waist to help cinch up the waist a bit. When you zip the legs off the shorts come down to the top of the riding boot. Pretty comfortable. The two zipper pockets are big enough for toe phone and wallet. The regular pockets are good too even tho I lost my debt card while riding. My fault

It would be nice if a piece of material was on the back side of the zipper so it is not directly in contact with the skin. The fit is great and comfortable Very close to being a 5 star review.

Best over the boot for shorter riders. 36 waist are about a 35 but have the elastic with Velcro on both sides for adjustment. Roughly a 30 inseam. Only downfall is they have a standard snap style button. They need the plastic ratchet style like the in the boots version.
